Includes a High School Level Skills Showcase for 2008 and 2009 graduates on Friday.

TOURNAMENT-This is a brand new event for the 2008 season. In the first year event, teams from the MEAC conference will square off against teams from the SWAC conference in this Historically Black College Fastpitch Softball Showdown. The tournament was named in honor of the late Tiny L. Laster Jr. who was a legendary coach at Hampton University and had an all time record of 537 wins 303 losses and 1 tie. This tournament will be packed with excitement as the weekend will kick off with a high school showcase tied into the event on Friday night. The tournament games will then commence all day Saturday and Sunday. You will not want to miss this event and plan to come out and enjoy the day watching your favorite college play the exciting game of softball.
