USSSA BASKETBALL

USSSA is the largest multi-sport

association in the nation with over

3 million participants and

the fastest growing youth

basketball association

in the country.

The youth basketball  program

is grade based

with age limitations. 

Players are certified by the

state to assure fair play.

Area, State and National tournaments.

National tournaments are well run,

provide strong competition against

teams from throughout the nation,

and in some age groups

NCAA certified exposure

events.

Each sanctioned tournament will qualify

teams for state and national play.

*

The Team Ranking System has become

the goal of thousands of players,coaches and

  parents.  Rankings are based entirely on

participation in sanctioned events.

*

USSSA events are held throughout the

country and teams may participate

in those events.

REGISTERING WITH USSSA THROUGH ALL-TOURNAMENT PLAYERS PARK

 

  • Registration is $25 a team for the season.  Registration includes 15 team members and 4 coaches.

  

  • Register through us for USSSA choose USSSA TEAM REGISTRATION

  • We will contact you for information regarding your team.

 

  • We will set up your USSSA website ID and enter your team roster.

 

  • After registration you will receive your USSSA ID and password.

  

  • All Georgia teams will be entered as Division 1 as USSSA grows in our area.  Additional divisions will be re-visited as the team base grows.

  

  • Team members are entered once an ID and password are issued.

  

  • You will be able to print your official team roster from the site. (Team rosters must be signed by each players parent or guardian.)

  
   

TEAM WEBSITE

  

  • A team USSSA National webpage is created once your team is entered.  You can enter a photo of your team on your webpage.  Team points and rankings are available on this page. (A power point tutorial is available on the USSSA site.

  
 

  • Scores will be posted to website as tournament is played.

  

  • Tournament results, points and team rankings will be posted to the USSSA site and your team site following the tournament.

  
   

TEAM INSURANCE

 

  • USSSA insurance is not mandatory but team insurance is available through USSSA for $89.  USSSA coverage applies to any type of tournament or event your team may participate in.

  

  • Teams are required to carry team insurance and provide proof of insurance coverage when playing at All-Tournament Players Park.

  
 
   

PLAYER PROOF OF AGE & GRADE, CERTIFICATION

  

  • For each player you must have proof of  age and grade along with a current picture.

  

  • Proof of age: must have a "clean" copy of a birth certificate, adoption papers, or immigration papers.

    

  • Proof of grade: must have a "clean" copy of a report card from the current school year, signed documentation from the host school district for a home school student, or an original letter from the school's administration with a contact phone number included.

    

  • Photo: current picture taken after August 1, 2008.

    

  • Certification:  Team books will be certified at check-in prior to the first tournament a team participates in. Included in the team book should be a team roster printed from the website and signed by each players parent or guardian.

    
     

GRADE/AGE DIVISIONS

    

  • USSSA is grade based with provisions by birth dates.  Determination date is September 1st.  Rules regarding age/division are available here.  You may also enter birth dates to determine the appropriate division on the site.

COACHES CHECK-IN

   

  • Coaches must check in with team book prior to their first game of the tournament. Desginated check-in times are as follows.

   

  • Saturday. Coaches should arrive for check-in 1 hour before first games of the tournament on Saturday morning.

   

  • Friday. If games are scheduled on Friday those coaches should arrive for check-in 1 hour prior to the first games of the tournament.  Check-in will be held during the first Friday night game time for other coaches who wish to check-in early.

   

  • Players will not be permitted in gym until 30 minutes before game time.

   
     

HELPFUL NOTES:

   

  • If you have a USSSA account under another sport you will use that account to enter your basketball team.

    

  • If you have lost your USSSA ID and password go to www.usssa.com, click on Basketball, click on 5 on 5, go to the bottom of the page and click on Lost ID on the left, enter the email address you registered with, your password will be sent to you by email.
