8U Cody Thomas Launches It Over the Left Field Fence |
| Cody Thomas of the Sandy Plains Cougars goes yard with the first 8U home run at All-Tournament Players Park. Cody Stroked the ball over the left field 205 sign against the Kennesaw Lightning. The Cougars placed second in the 2007 8U Dizzy Dean Warm Up Tournament.
Congratulations Cody for an awesome place in the All-Tournament Players Park history book.

9U Columbus Young Guns Triple Crown Georgia Fall Champions |
| The 9 year old Young Guns traveled from Columbus, Georgia to battle for the 2007 state championship bragging rights. The Young Guns defeated the 6-4-3 Academy team in a tough 1 run game to make it into the championship game where another great battle took place. The young guns captured the Triple Crown Georgia Fall Championship title from the East Cobb Rebels by a score of 16-14.
Congratulations to the Columbus Young Guns and the Rebels for such a terrific championship game. Thanks to all the teams that came out to play on this beautiful fall weekend. |

10U East Cobb Astros Take Georgia Fall State Championship |
All-Tournament Players Park hosted the 10U Triple Crown Fall Georgia Championships on a "perfect baseball weather" October weekend. The 10U East Cobb Astros captured the title from the Georgia Roadrunners by a 5-0 score. The Astros took home "State Champion" bragging rights for 2007 and the exclusive "Champions Club" bagtags.

West Cobb Chaos Champions Of The First All-Tournament Players Park Girls Softball Fast Pitch Tournament |
Area teams competed this past weekend for the first girls softball championship trophy awarded at All-tournament Players Park. The Chaos captured the 10U ASA Fast pitch Fiesta with a 5-2 win over the West Cobb Rage. After a three inning head to head battle, the West Cobb Chaos went ahead 4-1 in the 4th inning and held on for the win.
Congratulations to the Rage and the Chaos for making it to the championship. We look forward to hosting more girls softball at All-Tournament Players Park.

10U NYO Toros Take Home Summer Slam Championship Trophy |
The 10U NYO Toros defeated the East Cobb Longhorns to capture the 2007 10U Summer Slam title. Toros defeated the Lightening in the semi-finals to qualify for the championship game and the Longhorns defeated the Gwinett Thunder. The Toros captured the title with a 7-2 win in the Championship game.
The NYO Toros took an early lead in the first inning going ahead 5 to 2. The remainder of the game was a head to head battle with the Longhorns only giving up 1 run in the third and 1 run in the 5th.

11U Hobgood Heat Disney Warm-Up Champions |
The 11U Hobgood Heat defeated the FreeHome Roadrunners to win the2007 Disney Warm-Up title. The Roadrunners defeated Middle Valley Heat 12 to 3 to qualify for the championship game and the Hobgood Heat defeated NYO Drillers.
The Heat, along with most of the other participating teams, will be traveling to Orlando to play in the the AAU National 11U Championship at Disney World.

8U NYO Longhorns All-Stars Best of 15 at the Dizzy District Warm-Up |
The 8U NYO Longhorns All-Star team defeated the Sandy Plains Cougars to capture this early all-star season title. They were awarded their trophies by Preston Hurter, Chase Williams, Travis Isenberg and Robbie Knox of the 2004 Dizzy Dean District, State and WORLD SERIES Championship team the Hobgood Heat.
Fifteen All-Star teams completed during this 6 day tournament. In the semi-finals of bracket play the Cougars defeated the Kennesaw Lightning for a place in the championship and the Longhorns defeated the Shaw Park Storm. The Longhorns played 6 games to earn the title as the Dizzy District Warm-Up Champions.
These 8U All-Star teams will represent the Atlanta area well in the district and state tournaments.. We hope one of these teams brings home the National Dizzy Dean title to Georgia. |

Midway Mustangs 7U Dizzy District Warm-Up Champions |
The Midway Mustangs captured the 7U Dizzy District Warm-Up title played at All-Tournament Players Park. The Mustangs took the title with an 11 to 8 win over the East Side Storm. The Atlanta area will be represented well in the 7U Georgia District, State and World Series Dizzy Dean tournaments.
Best of luck to all the teams and bring home the National Dizzy Dean title to Georgia. |

Kennesaw Xtreme 9U AAU Georgia State Champions 5/10/2007 |
|
The Kennesaw Xtreme took the AAU Georgia State Championship title played at All-Tournament Players Park. The Xtreme are the first team to win two tournaments at the park and display two of the coveted champions bag tags. The East Cobb Astros played a great tournament finishing as state runners-up.
The tournament was host to some of Georgia's best 9U teams. Georgia will be represented well at the AAU National Championship at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The Atlanta area will be represented well at the national championship.
Best of luck to all the teams and bring home the National AAU title to Georgia.

O.P. Broncos 10U Dizzy District Warm Up Tournament Champions |
The Oregon Park Broncos All-Stars captured the first 10U Dizzy District Warm-Up Championship at All-Tournament Players Park. The 10U Buford Wolves All-Stars played a great tournament finishing as runners-up.
The tournament was host to some of the areas best 10U all-stars and all-star teams from area Dizzy Dean parks. The Atlanta area will be represented well in regionals and at the Georgia State Dizzy Dean championship tournament along with the Dizzy Dean World Series.

The Collins Hill Eagles Capture the 11U Spring Bash Championship |
In true championship fashion the Colllins Hill Eagles and the Rockdale Rhinos battled neck and neck until the final at bat. The Rhinos put the first run on the board in the top of the first inning only to have the Eagles tie the game up in the bottom of the inning. In the 2nd inning the Rhinos posted three more runs to take the lead four to one but the Eagles battled back run by run. The Rhinos held the lead until the bottom of the sixth inning when the Eagles scored two runs to win the first 11U All-Tournament Players Park Spring Bash Championship.

The Powder Springs War Eagles Capture the AAU Georgia State Championship |
The Powder Springs War Eagles not only captured the 12U AAU State Championship but took home the title with wooden bats. The first wooden bat tournament held at the park was quite a battle. There were crowd thrilling home runs and crowd chilling lightening. In true championship style the War Eagles and the Astros battled to put runs on the board. After six innings the War Eagles defeated the Astros three to one. Both teams played an outstanding tournament.

The East Cobb Astros Capture the AAU Spring National Title & Take Home the Rings 5/6/2007 |
The 2007 10U East Cobb Astros took home the AAU Spring National Championship rings on Wednesday night at All-Tournament Players Park. In a national tournament that took 3 weeks to complete due to a rained out Sunday, the Astros fought through the quarter finals on Tuesday and the semi-finals and finals on Wednesday night. The Astros defeated the Home Plate Chili Dogs to qualify for the finals and defeated Team Wilson to capture the championship. Thanks to all the teams that came to play this week on a school night. |

Kennesaw Xtreme National AAU 9U Spring National Champions 4/22/2007 |
2007 9U Kennesaw Xtreme are crowned the Spring National AAU Champions. Congratulations to the first members of the Champions Club.
The Kennesaw Xtreme took home the AAU Spring National Championship rings in the opening tournament at All-Tournament Players Park. In a 2 1/2 hour battle the Kennesaw Xtreme and the East Cobb Longhorns played the kind of game that true championships are made of. The Longhorns tied up the game twelve to twelve in the sixth inning but gave up the winning run to the Xtreme with two outs on the board in the bottom of the sixth. It was a crowd thriller with a final score of thirteen to twelve. |
